If you have more than one socket, the master socket is the one that will feed any extension sockets. It's always best to connect your BT Hub to the master socket if you can. This is where the broadband signal is strongest, before it goes through any other home wiring which could cause interference.

Hi, I am a new EE broadband customer (service went live 4 days ago). I migrated from BT infinity 2 to Fibre Plus Broadband and the router shows a max data raide of 66Mbs which is roughly the same as with BT. When BT inifity went live initially i was getting 76Mbs and 20 up, but I guess the line couldn't handle this and eventuslly settled at the speed above.
